At present, most of the mainstream wireless access point for the dual band 2.4G and 5G set, so the design of the rectenna frequency is also for this dual band. The design of the dual band rectenna is the use two double layer printed circuit boards from top to bottom production, the upper layer for the radiator layer at top board, the upper layer for the ground and the lower layer for the circuit layer at bottom board, the top and bottom board air as the medium. Only a single feed point to achieve the dual band, 2.4G band is the form of microstrip antenna for resonance, 5G band is the form of slotted antenna for resonance, because only a single feed is used, the input impedance of both resonators is designed at 50Ω. Using the simulation software through the appropriate adjustment of the antenna size can be a good return loss of -33dB and -25 dB, a radiation pattern gain of 7.7 dBi and 8.8 dBi, more than 90% and 80% of the radiation efficiency. Respectively at 2.45GHz and 5.48GHz. And then through the dual band matching network to achieve the dual band antenna and rectifier circuit impedance matching, and the use of simulation software to improve the rectifier circuit AC to DC transform efficiency, The actual measurement, can reach 56.3% and 37.8%, respectively at 2.46GHz and 5.44GHz. Finally, the Texas Instruments ultra-low power boost bq25505 stabilizes the DC voltage at 5V to facilitate charging of the end device.
