Due to small and medium-sized enterprises generally lack of innovative elements and low R & D budget. Therefore, to create automation-based enterprises and create innovative products, and also to achieve customization of products in order to break through from the bidding market is a major challenge for Taiwan manufacturers. This report takes the R & D innovation and commercialization of automation equipment as the main aspect. Taking case J as an example, this report analyzed the innovation of R & D of domestic small and medium-sized enterprises automation equipment, how to provide the products and services in line with the market demand. According to the analysis of the case company and the Delphi method questionnaire, the conclusions are as follow: 1. Small and medium-sized enterprises face competition in the market, by ISO, CE certification to improve the overall production quality and increase product differentiation, help to enhance the competitiveness of enterprises and products. 2. Small and medium-sized enterprises lack of marketing personnel, enterprises can effectively use the scale of effective use of marketing resources to improve the visibility of the companys products, to expand the equipment of domestic and foreign sales opportunities. 3. The automation equipment R & D innovation must be able to meet the needs and solve customer problems, customization highly competitive and innovative products.
