The construction of “figure” is not completely a linear evolution, but a kind of netted connection, seeking for the relations between individuals and groups. In which, it reflexes the content and the texture, and eventually typifies itself. The meaning of “typify/typification” is to thoroughly think about the intention. It’s not about “inventing” something new, but “discovering” something new. I’ve investigated the phenomenon of such typification, and appropriated it to the construction of the architecture. Thus, the indication of “figure” is emphasized to embody the architecture with corporeality. In the architectural creations, the transformations of “figure” originate from the appropriations of the results as the beginning of reflexivity. Thus, behind each result there is a principle for its appropriation. And then, it represents and turns back to the new architectural creation with a translated status. In the context, it’s as a spiral “repetition-look-like” phenomenon: it seems like a repetition, however the situation of each part is different, and each part has the intertextuality with the each pattern. Thus, in the investigation, the “figure” of the architecture is the series of simulacrum, representation, and turning-back. And that’s the reality I’ve recognized finally.
