The virtualization technology behind cloud computing is more stabilized. Resources of cloud computing are varied according to computing services and customer requirement.Therefore, how to allocate the resources efficiently and adjust computing resources of virtual machine rapidly are a important issue. In this thesis, a mechanism to monitor and adjust automatically based on KVM infrastructure is proposed. This mechanism provides adjusting automatically CPU and memory of virtual machine according to user's setting and resources usage of virtual machine. Besides, monitoring the status of virtual machine of virtual machine and reallocating CPU and memory under the NUMA-enabled host to speedup the memory-access time.
