Ten Taiwanese speech-language pathologist were invited to take part the grounded theory of qualitative research, and the depth of interviews was used to collect data. The data are then analyzed, coded and interpreted, and the results are as follows: The major findings of this study are listed as follows: 1. The main sources of work stress forspeech-language pathologist are cases, work load, social change and policy, training, special cases, case coordination or motivation, treatment status, trust and cooperation of major caregivers, Or medical team cooperation and coexistence, personal characteristics and self-expectations and so on. 2. In the work, different pressure sources may occur simultaneously, may also affect each other. 3. Work pressure will change over time, due to personal life background, education, work experience and change. 4.Speech-language pathologistin response to work stress include: to accept the reality of self-adaptation, to seek religious power, leaving, learning, looking for resources to seek emotional support, to participate in leisure activities, sports and tourism.
