Summary:碩士 === 臺北市立大學 === 體育學系體育碩士在職專班 === 105 === The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between participation motivation and constraints for Elementary Students’ Participants Motivation and Constraints in baseball in Taipei and New Taipei City. Moreover to compare the difference in personal background variables between participation motivation and constraints. This study was used a questionnaire survey and the research tool consists of “Scale of Participation Motivation” and “Scale of Constraints.”The statistical software package SPSS for Windows (Version 20.0) was used for all data entry and analysis. The key conclusions of this study are: (1)There are four factors for participation motivation. The importance in the order is“Get Achievement”, “Athletic Technology Growth”, “ Health Self”, and “Social expand”.(2)The results of the variance analysis in different Sex, School year,Participation Hours, and Seniority showed that there were significant differences for all factors of participation motivation.(3) There are four factors for constraints. The importance in the order is “Academic restrictions”, “External environment”, “Competency ” , and “Interpersonal distress”.(4) The results of the variance analysis in grade age, participation hours, and seniority showed that there were significant differences for all factors of constraints.(5) The overall participation motivation and the overall constraints were shown to be negative correlated with one another. The correlation is weak correlation.
