Description
Summary:碩士 === 臺北市立大學 === 運動教育研究所碩士在職專班 === 105 === The purpose of this study was to collect visual performance and stimulus-response data on different levels of table tennis athletes, which analyze-how significant differences between the different levels table tennis athletes on the visual search ability and the selective attention, and further explore relationships between the two variables. Thirty-eight table tennis players were gathered from Taipei Municipal Chengzheng junior high school and New Taipei Municipal Xinzhuang junior high school. They were divided into high-level groups and low-level groups according to whether they participated in the national competition and competition performance. The G2 eye-tracker and signal detection test were used as the measuring instruments. An independent sample t test, ANOVA, and Pearson’s correlation were used to analyze in this study. The findings were: 1. High-level group players performed better than low-level group on visual search ability, but there was no significant difference between the two groups. 2. High-level group players had a significant higher performance than the low-level group on selective attention. 3. Visual search ability was positively related to selective attention in the high-level group, and was negatively correlated in the low-level group. However, there was no significant relationships in the two groups. The study suggests that in the future, intervene different training programs or cognitive strategies to verify the impact effect of visual search ability. In addition, whether there is a positively effected on two variables for table tennis performance, which will be concerned of the subject in the future.
