Based on the above viewpoints, this study attempts to introduce emotional feelings into texture touch in order to figure out complex inner feelings. The results show that the subjects experience the interactions between texture and emotions when conducting the tactile perception experiment. Overall, in the texture samples, subjects are able to clearly distinguish the differences between the "irregular texture" and other textures in all emotional experience experiments. Besides, in the comprehensive comparison of emotions, the subjects mainly feel pleasant, surprised and funny about the textures. With regard to the design of texture samples, the more careful the design is, the more positive the emotional feelings tend to be. On the contrary, when the textures are distributed in a plate-like organic pattern, the motional feelings are more likely to be negative. However, after tests and analyses of two subject groups of different gender and different majors, it is found that the similarity between men and women in emotional feelings of touch is high. In terms of whether the subjects majored in design, their motional feelings of touching specific texture samples are significantly different. On the basis of the findings of this study, it is expected that in the future, designers can make good use of the relationship between the physical properties of textures and emotional feelings as application and reference in the design of tactile perception.
