The consumers in Taiwan have tended to accept video streaming applications shortly. Thus there is a huge impact on cable telecommunication companies and IPTV telecommunication companies. The study includes the comparison between the video streaming applications of the three largest OTT companies in Taiwan and MOD services of Chunghwa Telecom. The purpose of the study is to figure out the differences and contribute to offering suggestions for cable telecommunication companies such as Chunghwa Telecom. The study distinguish the differences of network structure, television channels, video streaming services, charging system,prices, and terminal equipment among the three OTT companies and IPTV company, including Netflix, iQiyi for online video platform and LiTV. The findings of the study include the differences of above companies as follows: First, OTT functions in open-network. The service is available in on-line areas. IPTV functions in closed-network. The service is available in the network provided by fixed IP. Second, the content providers such as Netflix, iQiyi for online video platform and LiTV, have better advantage for consumers on a stable platform. Third, MOD services of Chunghwa Telecom and Li TV have the similar channels and monthly-charged videos. There is an obvious difference on monthly fee.
