However, the studying of woodcraft technology is comprehensive and the content is complicated. The apprentices need a period of time to learn and pile up hands-on experience. Those pupils can only rely on the managerial skills and philosophy which belong to rigid scolding and preaching to instruct new generation. There are also some great impacts and conflicts on that during the process. The leading methods includes authoritarian leadership, benevolent leadership, moral leadership, and paternalistic leadership, which might lead to the consequence which the apprentices are willing to follow their masters’ steps to become the moral craftsmen. The research would like to reveal some findings via the field interview, which are inclusive of that the traditional master might cause huge pressure and can’t understand the feeling of those pupils fully by adopting authoritarian leadership. Under the pressure, most apprentices would choose to abandon. Also, under paternalistic leadership, the apprentices would discover the master’s advantage and imitate to learn by the change of master’s behavior. Besides, they wanted to become the same type of leader as their master by worshiping them, and there will be a positive influence on those pupils’ future development and network building. Finally, according to the relevant research, this study provided some suggestion of hands-on managerial experience and try to make useful contribution to apprenticeship management LIN, SHANG-PING 林尚平 2018 學位論文 ; thesis 71 zh-TW
