During this period of time, with the concerted efforts of the government organisations and civil society, rich first-hand Taiwanese folk custom data collected from their field study were left for future study. "Folk Custom Taiwan", published before World-WarⅡ,was one of the main resource of Taiwanese folk customs. It contained more academic Taiwanese folk research than any government publication. Taiwanese researchers recorded folklore without language barrier, and could provide a better description of common people's lives. This trend had continued even after World-WarⅡ. Taiwanese writers of "Folk Custom Taiwan" had become the main ones of “Taiwanese Folk Supplement of Gong-Lun News “ later. In the beginning of the post World-War Ⅱera, “Taiwanese Folk Supplement of Gong-Lun News”, edited by Qi-lu Chen, was a comprehensive collection of Taiwanese Folk customs. Its contributors mainly received Japanese education, so the course of the study continued the style of the Japanese rule. Another transmission of " Folk Custom Taiwan " spirit and characteristics was " Taiwan-Feng-Wu Magazine " which was founded by Han-guang Chen. It had been issued so long and never interrupted,so it is the longest research published by civil society in Taiwan after World-War Ⅱ. In the late 1970s, more and more researchers joined in the study of Taiwan, which made “Taiwan-Feng-Wu Magazine " more academic. “The Taiwan Folk Supplement of Credit Weekly”, first publiced in October 1966, coverd folk tales, the legends of people, local customs, folk beliefs, and was designed to be both entertaining and easy to understand. Therefore, it was very popular among readers . It does not only have the same name but also have the same content as “Taiwanese Folk Supplement of Gong-Lun News “. Is there any connection between the two? “Taiwanese Folk Supplement of Gong-Lun News” had been researched thoroughly . However,“Taiwanese Folk Supplement of Credit Weekly “ which was the successor of “Taiwanese Folk Supplement of Gong-Lun News” hadn’t drawn too much attention yet. This paper aims to find out why “Taiwanese Folk Supplement of Credit Weekly” had be founded, and why its publication had been discontinued. Its editorial idea, the writing group, and the content of the article were also investigated. Hopefully the value of “Taiwanese Folk Supplement of Credit Weekly “can be defined. Although the research of Taiwan has become more and more prominent today, the goal of study is still for literary creation or Taiwan's history. The study of folk customs close to the civilian serves only a supporting role in this field. It is a pity that the efforts and contribution of folklore scholars had not been reserved properly. The purpose of this study is to re-introduce the Taiwan Folk Supplement of Credit Weekly, and give it a proper evaluaion. 柯榮三 2017 學位論文 ; thesis 260 zh-TW
