Summary:碩士 === 國立雲林科技大學 === 漢學應用研究所 === 105 === In 2010, Senior High School Curriculum Guidelines were implemented in all Senior High schools in Taiwan. It was consider a milestone for Taiwanese education system. Previously, national-developed Senior High Curriculum Standards regulated materials and curriculum for senior high school. With Senior High School Curriculums Guidelines, school and teachers are given flexibility for materials choosing and curriculum designing. The implementation of the guidelines was also the indication of trusting the teachers and school to revolutionize education. Teachers are looked at as the authoritative figures in Taiwan. Entering top-tired school or university is considered the only objective of education in Taiwan. The cram-school like teaching style is recognized as the best and most effective way to educate the students. However, countries around the globe are focusing on more inspirational and diversify education. This study explores the importance of implementation of Senior High School Curriculum Guidelines and how does it align with current education development. Through the comparison of research plans and cases, teachers’ practical work and knowledge are listed and inducted.
