Most of the reasons are the insufficient number of sperm, vitality and sperm shape is not complete. Therefore, for male infertility, the "semen analysis" is the most basic and important. Method In the present study, the semen samples of the subjects were obtained from Taoyuan Hospital, followed by a swim-up technique at the laboratory of the Reproductive Medicine Center. And then using biological chip technology to swim to the upper and the bottom of the sperm remain in the molecular biology of detection. The results were statistically analyzed by bioinformatics. Through GO, KEGG pathway, regulatory network and other functional analysis, the results obtained a lot of meaningful findings. Results and discussion Compared to the upstream and downstream gene expression and male semen analysis, we found that the level of performance may affect the number and activity of sperm. We also found that CALM3, ALDH9A1, and ACTB are involved in KEGG pathways that affect sperm quality, and their semen analysis results and literatures are helpful to explain the influence of these genes on sperm. Because of the lack of literature, miRNAs found in our study did not show a definite effect on sperm production in miRNA analysis. Conclusion Finally, we found that the differences in the performance of the gene may be related to the quality of sperm quality is related. And found that some biological processes and biological pathways will also indirectly affect the quality of sperm, and hope these research results can be provided in the treatment of male infertility.
