Expanding and exhibiting the cohesiveness of the lanterns to the local people, as well as cultural implications, as well as subsequent media disclosures and effects, is the scope of this paper. Field visits and interviews will be conducted through the Field Investigation Act and the Document Analysis Act, and the 2017 Taiwan Lantern Festival will be discussed through literature analysis. 　The author is discussing the Yunlin County government's proposal to show the local characteristics and local culture in the county, and to launch the tourism theme in a timely manner, bringing practical benefits and promotions to the Yunlin area. This paper also covers the technical aspects of the production of lanterns and the facets of local identification as the direction of research and discussion.
