Financial services combine with information technology to evolve new business models, and huge business prospects for enterprise rush. But after the development of financial technology (fintech) is bound to have an impact on the existing operating procedures, and in response to the introduction of financial technology (fintech), the Information governance system must be adjusted or improved. So the goal of this study for when enterprise import the financial technology (fintech), how to adjust information governance mechanism to avoid risk problems. This study focuses on information technology governance architeeture - COBIT 5 released by ISACA in order by to construct a suitable information governance mechanism for fintech. This study explores the risks and problems that enterprises may face when developing fintech and construct a prototype mechanism for information governance and management with five facets of COBIT 5. Then, through two rounds of the Delphi questionnaires and the advice of experts for the content validity test and consistency test to fulfill corrections in this mechanism. Finally, through case study methods to verify the feasibility of the mechanism in practice and according to the feedback from the respondents to obtain the final research results. The final information technology governance mechanism for financial technology (fintech) has 4 dimensions, 55 information related risk factors and 83 governance and management practice items. In hopes to assist in the information governance and modification of enterprises which apply fintech to complete and attain their corporate strategies and goals.
