| Summary: | 碩士 === 中華科技大學 === 土木防災與管理碩士班 === 106 === If the museum suffers from the fire disaster, the correct judgment and capability of the museum staff and the firefighters are the key to preserve the cultural relics. This study explored the personnel response and fire rescues after a fire in a museum. Through literature review, case analysis, expert interviews, and rescue simulation, this paper made a rescue plan in order to reduce fire damage, preserve the integrity of the cultural relics, and ensure personnel safety.
According to the results of the rescue simulation of the museum fire, the correct response of the museum personnel is the first line of defense for whether the cultural relics can be preserved, and the firefighting equipment is the second line. Moreover, fire rescue must minimize damage to effectively reduce the museum's losses.
