Thermoplastic has the characteristics of heating softening and cooling hardening. And fiber glass is an excellent inorganic nonmetallic material because its elongation is large and the tensile strength is high in the elastic limit. Experimental method of this thesis is the Thin-Film Laminating method which is few used in industry. Pre-penetration finding reveals that it is difficult to penetrate the polycarbonate into large area of fiber glass. Production experiments indicate the Thin-Film Laminating is the best method which can greatly improve the production process of the glue lack and bubble problems. Results of this study provides a new choice for the new material of suitcase for travel. It not only has sufficient flexibility and strength, but also can be repaired minor dent in a simple way.
