The teaching methodology has evolved to a professional way of teaching rather than just a normal music lesson as before. However, the total number of teaching hours has reduced. In the latest updated curriculum, it stated the Recorder is a musical instrument to be taught. All these changes have a great impact on both the teachers and students. The teaching methodology of the Hsin-Chu Recorder Orchestra was introduced in several Elementary schools and Junior high schools to align with this reformation in music education, and the result is excellent. This study is through both theory and real life experience. It analyzes and discuss the development and change process of Taiwan music curriculum. It further elaborates the forming and development of Hsin-Chu Recorder Orchestra. Through the relevant business theory, it reviews the pros and cons of the current business strategy, how this strategy could support the music education system. Suggestion for improvements has been proposed. The study concludes: 1. Introduces professional orchestra teaching systems and teachers to the school could effectively help the students to learn. In addition, it reduces the stress on the school music teachers who are not professionally trained in this area. 2. With high parental support and a large number of young population, the numbers of members in Hsin-Chu Recorder Orchestra has constantly increased. 3. The popularity of orchestras has raised because of the well-trained teachers and right marketing strategy. 4. The orchestra is facing the problems of insufficient fund, does not have an exclusive training venues and large musical instruments. Leasing place for practice is also an issue. 5. Local administration should be more approachable and flexible to orchestra management.
