Due to the rapid change of military organizations, the manpower is downsizing but the business processes are not simplified and highly depend on manual operations. It results in the delays of replenishment operations and supply processes. Froom the perspective of intelligent logistics, this study apply the principles of supply chain management (SCM) , business process reengineering (BPR), and new information technology applications to improve and redesign the process of receiving military products from foreign procurement in Taiwan’s Air Force. In the light of the viewpoint of intelligent logistics, SCM, and BPR, this study aims to provide new solutions to redesign and improve the process of receiving military products from foreign procurement. Based on the author's practical experience and interviews, summarizing an identifying five key issues in the current processes. For responding the identified these issues, this research proposes new solutions to improve the process activities by using intelligent logistics concepts and emerging information technology applications (e.g. RFID), and then the solutions are evaluated by interview with practical experts in Air Force. The results are practicable to improve process efficiency, reduce the operation erro, and to achieve the purpose of process simplification .
