Description
Summary:碩士 === 中原大學 === 企業管理研究所 === 106 === Campus Supported Agriculture (CampuSA) program initiated in Chung Yuan Christian University (CYCU) aims to integrate the existing courses and projects into the upcoming general education of “Food and Farming Education” offered in 107-1 semester. All the existing courses that waved into “Food and Farming Education” are offered by College of Design such as “Food, Farming and Social Design” (Undergraduate Program in Social Design) , “Community Empowerment and Public Participation”(Department of Landscape Architecture) , the practicum in “Protogenic Culture” (Undergraduate Program of Design in indigenous culture) and the “Collective studies in Taoyuan” general education series courses in the University Social Responsibility (USR) projects. It is hope that the CampuSA program could be designed as an academic collaborative creation and research action by originating subscription system for membership to all faculties and students who are interested in the program in the university. By the academic package program and action plan mentioned above, it could turn the campus into a self-contained learning field for students and faculties from four aspects: ecology, production, living and life. Moreover, it could become the hub for developing the Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) model through connecting the academic CampuSA program with the innovative value to the local community network as well as regional corporations. In addition, the young students would not only learn the importance of food and farming education and environmental sustainability but also train their basic ability of recognizing the healthy diet. All these learning and training in the CampuSA program have a great impact on the students’ purchasing habit for food quality. Through a variety of learning of food education from field to dining table, students try to connect the good food culture with their lives and make it as a manner. They hope this manner could be extended to the next generation and keep the sustainable environment in good condition for our planet forever.
