Description
Summary:碩士 === 中原大學 === 企業管理研究所 === 106 === Nowadays, climate change, energy shortage and greenhouse effect issues enhance the public awareness of environmental protection and accelerate the industrial development of green energy. Attention has grown for requirement to move toward innovation for more sustainable solutions and to reduce dependence on fossil fuels. With company A’s highly recognized two-wheel electric scooter and innovative technology, it brings attention to company composition. As disruptive innovation is frequently discovered in the combination of different technologies or industry characteristics, company A, as a new entrant to traditional scooter manufacturer industry, is combined with high-tech and traditional industry resource and knowledge. The purpose of this study is, therefore, to explore the process of heterogeneous industry knowledge integration in traditional motorcycle manufacturing industry by case study of company A and methods of company A''s knowledge integration realizing disruptive innovation. With quantitative research method of grounded theory, the study shows 4 main core knowledge integrations were conducting during the innovation product development process : (1) organizational knowledge integration (2) heterogeneous industry design validation knowledge integration (3) heterogeneous industry engineering knowledge integration (4) heterogeneous industry product validation knowledge integration and engineering and validation stage reveal and require highest density of knowledge integrating internally and externally.
