As a result, Taiwanese traditional craft industries have undergone transition. This research aims at discuss the hardship and countermeasures traditional craft industries take when facing the transition. Taking semi-structural interview as study method, this study chose five pottery entrepreneurs as interviews whose companies have smoothly transformed from traditional craft to Culture and Creative Industries. Other than interviews, document analysis and field survey are adopted in this study. The result shows that traditional craft industry transition mainly happened under economic challenge, such as survival and business inheritance. The most common issues needed to deal with during transition are the lack of manage-talent personnel and integration of inner staffs. As comprehensive conclusion, the study found that every smoothly transformed entrepreneur has traits in common, such as dedicating at the preservation of traditional craft culture and having a strong sense of cultural calling. These traits are all dedicated to the success of transition. This study inspects the transition of Taiwanese traditional craft industry to Culture and Creative Industry along with case study to explain real situation, in order to provide guidance for transition of traditional craft industry in the future.
