It is also one of the most important capabilities in social interaction. With the development of augmented reality (AR) technology, more and more research has explored the impact of AR technology applications on education. However, in the field of pratical writing teaching, most of them only discuss practical writing strategies and activity design of pratical writing. Few studies use new technologies to integrate teaching, and they have not been able to discuss the effectiveness of AR technology in pratical writing learning. In this study, we developed an introductory idiom learning system called "Chinese Idioms Learning Card (CILC)". It combines AR technology and game-based learning design to enable learners to use learning cards to study on their own. Can do self test. On the other hand, Chinese language teachers use this AR learning card to carry out game-based design in the classroom, so that the learning card and the CILC system have more possibilities for flexible use. Two classes in a university in New Taipei City conducted an experimental study, using the IMMS Motivation Questionnaire and delay test to explore the effectiveness for students in applied text learning by using the CILC system''s AR card game to conduct mixed learning in the classroom. The experimental results show that AR card games can enhance students'' learning retention and learning motivation, and confirm the feasibility of CILC in the game design classroom. The results of this study can be used as a reference for teachers who are trying to incorporate AR technology in the field of language teaching, and they can provide new ideas for first-line teachers under the trend of literacy orientation.
