Description
Summary:碩士 === 朝陽科技大學 === 工業工程與管理系 === 106 === Productions with variety small amount and customization have become a standard mode in the Industry 4.0 production. In order to achieve such functions with higher efficiency, the operations and material supplies in the production facilities must possess certain level of flexibility. It is believed that a well management among the product data, the facility planning, the workflow and shop-floor status supervision is of major contribution besides the use of automatic machineries. Current technology allows the acquisitions of on-line production data down to detail, thus making realistic simulation achievable. In this research, an assembly plant is completely rearranged according to product similarity and order amount to add a dimension in flexibility. The method first applies group technology (GT) on product characteristics to determine families, then defines facility locations according to space availability and order frequencies. Several trials have been developed and evaluated using 3D plant simulation software DELMIA, and adjustments and refinement were also made accordingly to enhance to overall performance.
