Description
Summary:碩士 === 大葉大學 === 國際企業管理學系碩士班 === 106 === This study investigated the correlation between technology acceptance level and innovation resistance factors concerning the E-visit among older people in Taiwan. Social influence was set as a moderator to better understand whether older people’s intention to use such consultation is influenced by others’ expectations. With people aged 65 and older as the research subjects, this study employed convenience sampling and issued 650 paper or electronic questionnaires to older people who must seek repeated medical care. A total of 543 questionnaires were retrieved. After invalid questionnaires with repeated or unreasonable answers were deleted, 348 questionnaires were used for analysis, yielding a valid return rate of 68.64%. The analysis results showed that usage and tradition barriers negatively influence older people’s intention to use E-visit, while their attitude has a positively influences their intention to use. The three factors of attitude, image barrier, and social influence have a confounding effect on their intention to use. Their attitude is positively reinforced by social influence, which also negatively reinforces their image barrier. In addition, perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness positively influence their attitude. The following suggestions are proposed based on the research results. The support of medical care units and family members is highly instrumental in persuading older people to use an E-visit system. If more resources are invested into giving older people more access to E-visit, their intention to use will increase and they will use E-visit systems more frequently.
