Description
Summary:碩士 === 大葉大學 === 資訊工程學系碩士班 === 106 === The current teaching methods can be generally divided into two types: The first is the traditional way of teaching -- A teacher gives class in a classroom to multiple students. The second is online teaching conducted through internet. In case a teacher is to give class online, the teacher has two options. The first option is to produce a video stream for teaching and upload the program to a teaching website. The second is to broadcast live online. This research provides an interactive interface between the brain and the learning equipment. This interface is designed with the power for analyzing brainwaves during the learning process. It is intended to enhance the learning effects and prevent ineffective learning. The interface can be used to analyze the brainwaves to measure the learner's attention, Learning Energy Index (LEI), and to display the Characteristic subbands of the learning energy beta wave. The LEI value, presented in animated needle graph, is the energy summation of the Alpha wave and Beta wave of the brainwaves during learning. The brain-computer interaction (BCI) design is accomplished by collecting the learner's brainwaves during learning. The design can visualize the brainwaves of the learners so that teachers may evaluate the learning effects of the students much better. In addition to the above-mentioned function design, this research also explores attention-related brainwave and learning energy index. The interactive interface not only provides teacher a method for examining the strengths of students' learning energy, but also for teacher to find out why the learning effects of students are lagging so that immediate improvements can be made.
