Summary:碩士 === 大葉大學 === 管理學院碩士在職專班 === 106 ===   Since the beginning of 1970, the wedding industry in Taiwan has combined few business areas such as wedding planning, photography, fashion, hair design, and cosmetic service to produce the most innovative yet world-known industry within just a few decades. However, during 1990, the country itself has also undergone the collapse of stock market, which has caused the greatest economy crisis to its residents thus affecting local business by far. In 2008, with the declaration of bankruptcy of the Lehman brothers, the financial crisis has outreached globally where people are refraining from marriage due to the potential increase in financial burden of both parties. Hence, this has lead to a decrease in birth rate. As a result, the local wedding industry has slowly moving oversea to seek for new opportunities. In short, what our wedding industry face today is not only a mere diminish in our local culture but instead it is facing international competitors for survival.   Through exploring the primitive formation of our wedding industry, development, expansion and its business culture, this paper aims to provide an overview on how individual companies are functioning in a larger cosmos. By conducting case studies in analyzing the behavior of companies in a customer-oriented perspective (key values, target clients, and client-relationships) and in actual business perspective (events, key resource, collaborations), the goal of this research is to help companies in identifying and examining some of the potential crises that are underlying while also investigating and exploring areas of possible opportunities for companies to break through .
