Description
Summary:碩士 === 逢甲大學 === 工業工程與系統管理學系 === 106 === Design for Disassembly (DfD) is a concept in which during the design process, the way a product is taken apart is taken into consideration for the ease of future maintenance. Design for Maintenance (DfM) is an easy-to-repair service that reduces tool and screw specifications, and modularizes parts to make maintenance quick and easy. All the possible back up parts and the tools used to perform maintenance tasks has to be taken into consideration during the design process in order to make sure maintenance needs can be met smoothly in the furture. As I’m currently working with complex mechanical systems, parts lists are usually shown as EBOM and maintenance shown as SBOM. Since the designers do not take maintenance into account when using 3D files for the EBOM, problems arise in producing SBOM for maintenance where which screws belong to which parts are not specified, in which further causes difficulty in performing maintenance on mechanical systems. This research will be focusing on modifying the 3D files system as when it is transformed into EBOM, the maintenance details will be preserved and further used to successfully produce SBOM so that the process of manually checking for all the tools and parts while performing maintenance can be reduced.
