Description
Summary:碩士 === 逢甲大學 === 工業工程與系統管理學系 === 106 === For the LED industry, where the business cycle is fast and the product price fluctuates dramatically. The speed and price has been the necessary basis of competition, so shorten production cycle time and raise the Due-Date performance to meet customer’s expectation has become the most important issues for LED Manufacturer. This research probes into different dispatching rules for the manufacturing process of LED chip foundry that affected to every performance indices, including Due-Date performance and cycle time. By using simulation software ProModel, we construct a simplified model of LED production flow to evaluate different dispatching approaches. Adopting dispatching rules such as First In First Out (FIFO), Critical Ratio (CR), Earliest Due Date (EDD) and Shortest Processing Time (SPT) to run the simulation and collect the result data. The simulation results states the EDD dispatching rule has the best performance of Due-Date performance, and SPT dispatching rule has the best performance of average cycle time.
