Syngas can be used in many ways, for example, syngas production of methanol. Experiments take the Taguchi experiments design which can get the most accurate results with little experimental data. The study is Taguchi experiments design, and the target of the designs is the highest syngas yield. The Taguchi experimental designs is about rice husk gasification with steam, the experiments parameters are adding type of catalyst, equivalence ratio(ER), adding amount of carbon dioxide in the rice husk ratio(CO2/O2), gasification temperature(Temp.) and steam to biomass ratio(S/B), and the result shows the condition at adding dolomite, ER=0.1, CO2/rice husk=2.0, Temp.=1000 oC and S/B=0.8 has the highest syngas yield of 2490.85mL/min.
