Description
Summary:碩士 === 逢甲大學 === 都市計畫與空間資訊學系 === 106 === Transit Oriented Development (TOD), in response to the industrial revolution since the 18th century, has over-concentrated the population in cities, causing serious environmental pollution in the city, and increasing the number of vehicles owned by the population due to soaring population. Contaminating the environment further, in order to solve this phenomenon, the United States first proposed the development of satellite towns, through the mass transit chain, not only reduce the use of private vehicles but also to reduce the urban population. Since the Taiwan Railway Administration started to promote the rapid transit in 2005, it has added several simple commuter stations in addition to the existing stations to reduce the distance between stations and has used the mode of dense departure to increase the number of trips. Land development in the surrounding area of the station was able to grow. The Taichung area changed the appearance of the entire city in 2016. Through the elevated transit, the number of stations increased from the original 5 stations to 10, and the surrounding land in the future Development will have considerable development. This study collects and analyzes existing literature to explore the relationship between road network space and urban development. In order to find out the relevant factors of the public transport orientation and road network space around the stations along the elevated railway line of the Taichung Railway, the Spearman correlation coefficient analysis (1) The spatial road network factor is related to the density factor, but it is not related to the mixed use of land and urban design factors; (2) The density of surrounding areas along the station along the line and the degree of land use are higher, and the degree of urban design is higher. The lower the factor is; (3) The more skewed the grid pattern is, the greater the accessibility.
