Summary:碩士 === 佛光大學 === 產品與媒體設計學系 === 106 === The main purpose of this research is to explore the feasibility of using the Visual Design of an endorsement mascot miniature for a school brand image, and applying the school recognition system SIS in the development process of a school brand image. After the implementation of an endorsement mascot miniature, study the feedbacks from school members and the real impact to a school brand image. From the period of 2013-2017, the researcher took the Beicheng Elementary School in Yilan County, Taiwan as a sample, by doing the action research, literature exploration, questionnaire survey, interviews, and participation in observation daily records can conduct the qualitative and quantitative data information. First step, applying with SWOT and the past versus current visual identification analysis to the target sample school, understood the definition of the problem. Then adding data from the survey results of the endorsement mascot miniature in other 23 elementary schools, trying to find out the possible solutions to the problem, project plan and strategy, and design guideline. Last step, implementing the school recognition system into project strategy and design 4 endorsement mascot miniatures as the main visual identity symbols, promote related activities of symbols identity and marketing. Through the process of exploration, analysis, evaluation of feedbacks to verify the feasible model of the proper solution for the problem. The results are as follows: 1.While the school spirit, the school vision, and the school’s consistent beauty with the endorsement mascot miniature accordingly, Visual design is feasible not only to benefit a school brand image, but also to have a positively impact in school daily operations and the future development of the school image. 2.The appropriate timing to implement the endorsement mascot miniature into the brand image, and the agreement from school members to the feature image concept of the identity will help to contribute to the school brand buildup and future development. 3.The creation process of the endorsement mascot miniature for the school can create a coherence on campus, and establish the school characteristics, strong reinforcement. 4.The maintain strategy for the brand image is not an easy task. The marketing should adopt in stages and plans to establish specifications to achieve sustainable management continuously. In the end, according to the results of this research hopefully can help to some recommendations of the endorsement mascot miniature into the school brand image development. Also, can be used as useful reference for other schools.
