Summary: | 碩士 === 佛光大學 === 傳播學系 === 106 === The emergence of the new media era has greatly changed the communication patterns of contemporary people, especially the communication behavior, and is affected by the current new media and social media platform. Many of the new media behaviors used by live users are transmitted through live video streaming via Facebook or Instagram social media, which have real-time transmission and do not go through clips. Furthermore, live video streaming is able to attract attention and interactivity of the transfer characteristics, this function become a mechanism of social media platform of communication, which is extremely attractive. Live video streaming is currently the specialist using function of social media users of Facebook and Instagram.
However, by the using of new media especially a large number of live video streaming, while sharing audio and video content in real time, community members may expose themselves without a mask during live video streaming. Besides, privacy as well as personal information might reveal illegally. This new media using has caused several personal privacy management and privacy protection issues, which are worth for researchers who has concerned about new media literacy and mass communications.
This research attempts to explore the privacy awareness and personal management of live video streaming users in the use of "privacy management". This research chooses live video streaming users as the research subject, mainly considering the development stage of various interpersonal communication using of intelligent mobile phones. Besides, live video streaming users are concerned about the relationship between each other. Therefore, the research of live video streaming behavior of such group has its necessary research value.
The purpose of this research is to explore the willingness and frequency of live video streaming, trying to investigate the privacy vigilance of live video streaming behavior and the willingness to accept privacy protection while live video streaming.
In the collection of research methods and research materials, this research attempts to investigate and analyze the use of live video streaming and privacy management through the method of random voluntary filling out by the Google network questionnaire survey method. With to high rate of use of Facebook and Instagram live video streaming, this research would like to share with you the information about the frequency of use, the level of privacy and the willingness for users to accept privacy protection.
Through the preliminary statistical data, it is found that:
1.There are 52.2 percent of interviewee have the willingness to communicate with live video streaming. 2.There are 29.1 percent of interviewee already have the experience of using live video streaming. 3.There is a general lack of privacy awareness in the privacy of live video streaming. 4.Interviewee does not exclude the education of the privacy protection behavior. It is still considered to be a problem of personal privacy management, which is worth dealing with in the process of using live video streaming
