Summary: | 碩士 === 佛光大學 === 未來與樂活產業學系 === 106 === Breast feeding, produced by natural food through the mother's breast, is the most nutritious for baby growth needs. This thesis is to discuss ways to make expectant mothers and newborns promote and maintain good health, to enumerate tips of producing perfect and natural breast milk, to integrate the concept of body and mind balance, and to lead to the lifestyle of green living.
World Health Organization (WHO), in 2002, adopted a gender health policy to publicize the concerns of countries about social, cultural, physical and psychological impact on women's health in order to awaken global attention to maternal and child health. We must pay attention to how to provide maternal and neonatal health development and growth, the value and dignity of women and new life, immediately promotion and adequate milk quality and quantity to provide newborns to develop body and organ growth during postpartum and puerperium, and references of postpartum diet to improve milk secretion. Additionally, to prevent climate change and maintain sustainable development of the global environment, this thesis considers plant food and eco-friendly ingredients as first priority. They are chosen to be more beneficial to health, and simultaneously in line with the principle of energy saving and carbon reduction. This study not only collects Chinese herbal medicine and diets, but also organizes the latest international literature about natural resources of milk secretion, which the use and the method has been confirmed through toxicity test. Based on individual needs and taking body and mind as the main consideration, this study includes meal designs of balanced nutrition to promote maternal health and milk secretion to produce high quality breast milk, thus giving birth to a healthy next generation.
Throughout the course of the study, a considerable collection of milk secretion food and Chinese herbal medicine greatly enhances my motivation to completing this study. I look forward to seeing the recipes be widely used for postnatal family care in the future.
