Beauty of biological structures in nature is often applied in constructing and shaping bionic architecture. In contemporary jewelry designs, natural morphology represents an essential topic of creation. The purpose of this study was to identify how to integrate bionic morphology with architectural elements and then apply it in jewelry design. The research methods comprised literature review and case analysis. Literature review was first performed to understand and summarize architectural elements. Through discussion of bionic architecture works, this study explored how bionic designs were articulated in architecture. Subsequently, characteristics of contemporary jewelry were investigated. Relevant literature data were employed to organize the association between bionic architecture and contemporary jewelry. Based on such association, case analyses were conducted on eight creators and designers of jewelry fabricated using bionic approaches. The bionic morphology transformation, use of architectural elements, and application of fabrication techniques in the design works were analyzed. The results of analysis were integrated into subsequent jewelry fabrication works. The fabrication technique was employed in this study to combine bionic morphology with architectural elements for conceptual creation. The complexity of jewelry was decomposed and restructured to imbue the jewelry with a sense of structure and space. The results can serve as references for future researchers of relevant topics.
