The love relationship experience includes the number of times of falling in love, the age of the first relationship, the length of the relationship, etc. As for the conflict management strategies of love relationship, it includes four coping strategies: voice coping strategy which indicates an active individual who attempts to improve their relationship in a constructive way; loyalty coping strategy which refers to a passive individual who awaits optimistically for improvement in their relationship; neglect coping strategy indicating a passive individual who lets their relationship worsen over time; and exit coping strategy meaning an individual who takes the initiative in jeopardizing their relationship. The study adopted a questionnaire survey method to sample survey on senior high school students in Kaohsiung. A total of 640 questionnaires were sent out, and 269 valid questionnaires were returned. The findings were as follows: 1.Among the senior high school students in Kaohsiung, 42.03% of them have ever been in a relationship. 2.Regarding the correlation between the variable of different personal background and conflict management strategies of love relationship, gender is the key factor contributing to a significant difference in adopting coping strategies. This is shown by the fact that the frequency of voice, loyalty, and exit coping strategies of male students is higher than that of their female counterparts, while the other background variables show lack of correlation. 3.As far as the variable of different personal background and love experience are concerned, there is a significant relationship between gender and the relationship with their date, while the other background variables show lack of correlation. 4.As for the correlation between love relationship experience and its conflict management strategies of senior high school students, the findings suggest that the age of the first relationship and the length of the relationship make a significant difference in the frequency of adopting voice, loyalty, neglect, and exit coping strategies. In addition, a significant difference in the frequency of adopting loyalty lies between opposite-sex and same-sex relationship. 5.Furthermore, the frequency of adopting loyalty, neglect, and exit coping strategies are higher among students who have cheated or have been cheated in a relationship, while that of voice coping strategy being the lowest. As for the variable of physical intimacy, the frequency of neglect coping strategy is higher among students who have kissed before than that of those who have not. As for students with making out experience, the frequency of voice and loyalty coping strategies is higher than that of those without such experience. Moreover, the frequency of loyalty, neglect, and exit coping strategies is higher among students with sexual experience than that of those without, while holding hands and kissing show lack of such correlation.
