Nearly half of them are drug offenders. The crimes derived from the use of drugs continue to occur, causing law-enforcement lawmakers to increase penalties and the overall social atmosphere tends to be severely punished. The traditional way of reporting imprisonment does not seem to be an effective solution to drug abuse. Instead, it causes the burden on the state’s finance which is not the best policy overall. This study attempts to explore whether Buddhist view on life can help Taiwan’s drug addiction through literature analysis and historical analysis. In an attempt to rediscover the Buddhist view of life and explore the concept of life embodied in Buddhist doctrines. The researcher hopes to help drug treatment policy by using Buddhism's life wisdom. Therefore, this study is divided into three parts for discussion: First, the concept of life in Buddhism; secondly, analysis of the current currect of drug addiction and drug abusers in Taiwan; and finally, the inspiration of the Buddhist view of life on drug treatment. Keywords: Life view, Bioethics, Buddhism, Drug Addiction, Drug Rehabilitation. John B.Chuang 莊慶信 2018 學位論文 ; thesis 162 zh-TW
