The international community’s rising awareness of corporate social responsibility requires companies not only to pursue the interests of shareholders at a glance, but also to assume legal, moral, and charitable responsibilities. However, charitable corporate social responsibilities have been implemented for many years, and there is no good effect on the improvement of social issues. To explore the reasons for this, various companies are adopting corporate social responsibility to take a short-term, but only to create the economic value of the enterprise. To redistribute, for the true solution to social problems, enterprises should closely integrate their core competitiveness with social issues, and they can balance social values when pursuing economic value. In 2014, Cathay Financial Holdings upgraded the “Corporate Social Responsibility Committee” into the “Corporate Sustainability Committee.” The company formulated business strategies, based on the core competencies that the industry is best at, and included CSV's arguments, leveraging its own core competencies. , Combine social issues, improve the value chain of operational activities, increase their productivity, and allow social issues to be resolved continuously. Under the SDGs, all walks of life can play their core competence to improve social issues. When each industry can use its core functions to improve the direction of SDGs, social issues in the use of capitalist systems in enterprises to reshape the new business model, to create profits for their own companies, but also to lead the community to move forward.
