碩士 === 玄奘大學 === 傳播學院碩士班 === 106 === On September 1, 2015, the Ministry of Culture formally honored “ The Yimin ( Hakka Braves ) Festival at the Pavilion of Prized Loyalty” as the 16th national custom of the ROC national folk heritage and one of 12 Hakka festivals as well. The Pigs of God Contest has been the highlight of the Yimin Festival. President Shui-bian Chen appointed one farmer to raise “ The A-Bian Pigs of God” in 2003, which caused many conflicts at that time. Suddenly, the 100-years-old The Pigs of God Contest at the Yimin Festival became the target of public criticism. Should traditional culture be transformed by the trend of animal protection? Because of these conflicts, Department of Culture and other departments, Hsinchu County Government planned Immortal Pigs Painting to instead of Traditional The Pigs of God Contest playing an important role in Yimin Festival culture marketing. The study focuses on the government how to transform the folk belief gradually via policy marketing and how to measure the performance of Immortal Pigs Painting? Previous studies put more emphasis on the debate of culture spirit or the conflicts of Traditional The Pigs of God Contest. However, there are only few researches in the field of Immortal Pigs Painting. This study adopted the big data searching engine, OpView, to measure the Internet Public Opinion related with Immortal Pigs Painting, such as the Internet volume, the access, the KOL opinions related topic, the trend of the positive and negative opinion, keyword storm map and the comparison between The Pigs of God Contest and Immortal Pigs Painting. I hope this study could collect the Internet Public Opinion related with the topic “ From weighting contest to painting” can benefit the Yimin Culture.
