Among the top five cancers with the fastest increase, it’s the second after the breast cancer. However, the main treatment of malignant melanoma is still use surgical resection now. Therefore, we are looking forward to find a non-invasive treatment for clinic. Previous studies have shown on high doses of vitamin C has the function of anti-tumor. And there are still many unknowns about the effects of low-energy lasers on cancer treatment. Therefore, we use these two treatments that have been used clinically to evaluate the effect on melanoma skin cancer growth. In this study, the data shown on (1) High concentration of vitamin C and low-energy laser can effectively reduce the survival rate and proliferation of tumor cells. (2) Decrease the phosphorylation of p-38 protein expression. (3) In animal experiments, the group with vitamin C combined with laser for 400 seconds (4J/cm2), the tumor growth rate was significantly lower than that of the control group. Our study shows that Vitamin C combines with low level-laser have a better effective for treat melanoma. Li-Feng Liu 劉麗芬 2018 學位論文 ; thesis 42 en_US
