Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立高雄應用科技大學 === 化學工程與材料工程系博碩士班 === 106 === With the advance of science and technology, scientist found that the size of material become diminutive from micron to nano. When the size of a material is reduced, its physical and chemical properties can change dramatically. Therefore, it can be widely used in many fields, such as medicine, information, optoelectronics, chemical engineering and bioengineering. Metal nanomaterials due to their large surface area, prompting the decline of the melting point. In this work, silver nitrate was prepared via the chemical reduction method to become silver nanoparticles. Both Polyvinylpyrrolidone, as protective agent, and silver nitrate dissolved in ethylene glycol and ethylenediamine was added as a reducing agent. The aim of this study is to use microwave irradiation to improve reduction rate and the yield of silver nanoparticles. The reduced silver particles were also analyzed by the UV–visible (UV–Vis) spectrophotometer, Fourier Transform Infrared Spectrometer(FTIR), Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM), Ultra-high Resolution Scanning Electron Microscope(FESEM),X-ray diffraction (XRD), and Polarized Optical Microscope (POM), respectively.
