There are two critical problems in the cloud storage, security and backup issues. On the one hand, due to global climate anomalies, all disasters are unpredictable and these may lead to the data loss in the cloud centers or storage devices. On the other hand, the cloud storage is vulnerable to network attacks and eavesdropping. How to enhance the security and integrity of data storage in the cloud environments is worth further investigation. This thesis mainly presents a platform of personal data storage in the cloud without changing the existing cloud architecture, while the goals of data security and backup are enhanced. To improve the security, the one-way secure hash value of each file is calculated and integrated into the mobile platform. To address the backup issue, the individual file is divided into several segments by the redundant array of independent disks (RAID) techniques and stored in the different clouds.
