By using 10 years container throughout data to analyze co-integration verification, unit root test and Granger causality to make a judgement if these four ports will affect each other, and if any correlation to change the volumes of container throughout. As the outcome presented by long term data of the volumes of container throughout, Kaohsiung port is co-integrated with the other three ports, Kaohsiung port is complemented Shanghai and Singapore ports; and Kaohsiung ports is substituted for Hong Kong port. In short term, these four ports are no evidence toshow the correlations. The outcome shows Hong Kong port is the main rival of Kaohsiung port, we suggest the authority of Kaohsiung port may take the following measures to earn the intercontinental critical hub position: 1. Provide Investment incentive. 2. Improve the harbor facilities and efficiency. 3. Enhance the cooperation with feeder ports of China nearby Kaohsiung ports toincrease the container throughout. Keyword: Kaohsiung port, Container throughput, Unit root test, Co-integation Test, Granger causality test LEE, JEN-YAO 李仁耀 2018 學位論文 ; thesis 55 zh-TW
