The measuring uncertainty of this new measuring instrument invention was measured and evaluated according to ISO GUM guide, with the national standard gauge blocks. The expanded uncertainty of the new measuring instrument for measuring length in 0.5~1000 mmcalibration measurement is 0.17μm (coverage factor k = 2, providing a level of confidence of approximately 95 %). The proficiency testing for three steel gauge blocks (1 mm, 15 mm, 75 mm). The proficiency testing for three steel gauge blocks (1 mm, 15 mm, 75 mm) was carried and the calibration errors for nominal value in 1 mm, 15 mm, 75 mm were found as -0.100 μm, -0.100 μm, -0.100 μm respectively. The proficiency testing results for En-value are shown: |En| of 0.52 the nominal value in 1 mm, |En| of 0.46 the nominal value in 15 mm, |En| of 0.11 the nominal value in 75 mm. According to ISO/IEC 17043:2010, an absolute En-score of ≤ |1| indicates a satisfactory result. The reported result and reference value are in agreement (within their respective uncertainties).
