碩士 === 嶺東科技大學 === 高階主管企管碩士在職專班 === 106 === With the acceleration of economic globalization, the impact of foreign direct investment (FDI) on the world economy and the home country economy has been growing higher than ever. In particular, the Association of Southeast Asian Nations and ASEAN are the major driving forces behind the economic growth and technological progress of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations. Therefore, this article uses literature analysis and case studies to explore issues related to FDI and technology spillover in the Association of Southeast Asian Nations. The results show that the ASEAN countries' FDI technology spillover is affected by many factors, and the extent of the technology spillover effect is a little bit different as well. The spillover effects obtained by other countries except Singapore are relatively limited. In addition, the technological progress and spillover effect of MNEs in ASEAN countries are exist and dynamic. They are diversified and diversified through various channels and mechanisms but having different performances in different stages of development from different countries or the same country. Depending on many factors such as home country, landownership and technology.
