In view of this, this study will explore the impact of corporate governance and corporate social responsibility on business performance. The data was taken from the Taiwan Economic Journal (TEJ) and the research method was regression analysis. In addition, the board size, the equity pledge ratio of directors and institution shareholding ratio are significant negative correlations to business performance; In terms of corporate social responsibility, corporate governance and business performance have a significant positive correlation, indicating that good corporate governance mechanisms can enhance business performance. In addition, corporate commitment, social engagement, and environmental protection are significantly negatively related to business performance. This shows that if companies invest funds in employee benefits, public welfare activities and environmental protection will reduce business performance, it shows that the corporate social responsibility atmosphere in Taiwan still needs to be strengthened.
