Firm internationalization refers that a firm moves its operations to international market. Turkey is one of the emerging markets that attracts foreign firms including Taiwanese firms due to her strategic location and networks with her neighboring markets. The main purpose of the research is to analyze the factors and constraints that influence firm’s internationalization and market entry decisions. The research focused on Taiwanese firms in Turkish market. The research is conducted as case study to examine ownership, internalization advantages of firms, location advantages of the market and bilateral relations between Turkey and Taiwan. The respondent of the research were 5 Taiwanese firms which are operate in Turkey and qualitative data is collected through in-depth interviews from them. To gather more robust findings, the firms were divided into two groups as large sized firms and small and medium sized firms. The study found that, ownership advantages has positive effect on entry decisions of Taiwanese firms to Turkish market. Location advantages has positive effect on firms’ entry decisions to Turkish market, despite of unsatisfactory legal infrastructure of Turkey. Bilateral relations slightly effective on Taiwanese firms’ entry decisions to Turkey. Only the internalization advantages in terms of contractual risks has been denied the literature.
