Description
Summary:碩士 === 銘傳大學 === 諮商與工商心理學系碩士班 === 106 === This research explores the effects of walking with / without mindfulness in the nature on anxiety. Past researches show that the natural environment and mindfulness both have positive effects on human’s mental health; however, few studies combine them together and investigate the benefits they bring about. As a result, this research explores how the mindful walking in the nature influences anxiety and hypothesizes that people walking with mindfulness in the nature are less anxious than those without mindfulness. A one-factor between-subjects design (walking with / without mindfulness in the nature) was conducted, with state anxiety and affection state as dependent variables. Sixty college students were randomly assigned to either listen to or not to the mindfulness instruction when their walking in the forest. The results show it is not supported that people walking with mindfulness in the nature are less anxious than those without mindfulness.
