Description
Summary:碩士 === 銘傳大學 === 資訊傳播工程學系碩士班 === 106 === Resources of video-based e-learning are abundant on the Internet. People can watch the videos and initiate learning at their own convenience. In some video-based e-learning environment for learning English language, it is quite common to discover online quizzes applied as the post-evaluation tool to reinforce the learning effectiveness. The general feedback types of quizzes fall in providing either the correct of incorrect answers that the learner responds. In order to further understand on what the learner’s visual behaviors have focused in corresponding to quiz questions, eye tracking is engaged. The purpose of this study is to create a system to record and analyze the gaze information of the leaner during watching videos, and then the system will provide the learner the visualized feedback in video format presenting the visual learning behaviors of the learner. Meanwhile, the system will provide the learner the comparison information of gazes from other learners who answer the quiz questions with correct answers. The proposed feedback system can visualize the focused learning content and explain the visual learning behaviors more clearly.
