The significant connotation is to link the concept of "Internet" from computer to any physical devices. So that, each different device is communicated with each other in series connection. For example, individual use, intelligent bracelets and smart watches all represent the concept of the Internet of Things among the families and communities. The vision of "smart home" is not far from us. Perhaps after a few years, we can use mobile phones or other devices that can interact over the Internet to control the appliances at home: After working, using the mobile phone to check what is lacking in the refrigerator, using the tablet to turn on the air conditioner before arriving home, pressing a button on the App to call the elevator coming in advance before opening the front door. In fact, some of the previous theoretical technologies have now been implemented in real life. However, the smart home does not seem to have been popularized yet. For example, there are only a few construction project about smart home and smart community. How has the smart home changed our lives exactly? Are the "Smart Home Appliances" really benefits to the family, or is it merely an advertising words for companies to increase their selling prices? This article starts from these suspicion points. The research method is to find identified families that have used smart appliances from Hsinchu area, questionnairing and depth interviewing family members. Lastly, statistically analysis of the data to attempt exploring the issue of efficiency and implementation difficulties in the "smart home". The conclusions of this study are as follows: 1.The smart home is the future trend；2.The smart appliances make our lives easier and convenient；3.The users will continuously pay attention to latest smart products and consider purchasing them；4.There is no significant correlation between satisfaction and price of smart appliances.
